Everett PTSA Council is proud to host & announce WSPTA Approved Trainings!
Training is essential to the success of every PTA. Per WSPTA Standards of Affiliation, each PTA has an annual training requirement of at least one elected officer attending "PTA and the Law," and all other elected officers each attending at least one WSPTA-approved training before the WSPTA Convention (May 20-22, 2022). Each PTA must maintain documentation indicating each elected officer has satisfied the annual training requirement.

Council-led WSPTA-approved Trainings, Roundtables, and/or Workshops follow our Council Membership Meetings.
All PTA leaders in the Everett School District are encouraged to participate in our meetings (6:30pm Call to Order) and Council-led trainings (7:30pm start)!
Until further notice and unless otherwise noted, Council Meetings & Trainings will be held virtually. Each meeting will have its own dedicated login/password information.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to request a WSPTA-approved training, please email us: everettptsacouncil@gmail.com

UPCOMING TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2022: Council Membership Meeting
Join us on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, for our second Council Membership Meeting of the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to regular council business, we will be electing our Nominating Committee, as well as receiving updates from our district liaison, Cathy Woods. This will be a "Hybrid" meeting; either join us in-person at the Community Resource Center ("CRC" / EPS District Facility) in Board Room A, or online using the Zoom link in our E-blast.

After the meeting, we will be hosting a WSPTA-approved training, "PTA Administrators: Building Strong Relationships."
This presentation will help all board members understand the basic
responsibilities of their positions – and everyone else’s! It will also cover items such as advocacy,
fiduciary responsibility, membership, and outreach. This class will review the basic PTA elected
positions – president, secretary, and treasurer. Each PTA will vary beyond these required three
positions to meet the needs of its membership and that is perfectly acceptable. We hope to see you attend!
LOCATION: This will be a "Hybrid" meeting; either join us in-person at the Community Resource Center ("CRC" / EPS District Facility) in Board Room A, or online using the Zoom link below.
