2025-2026 Goals
Our goal this year is to exceed the # of PTA participants from last year, if not 100% participation. We need your help to make this happen.

Important Dates and Announcements
- Join us for our Virtual Optional Submission Review Q&A Session on November 16, 2025 at 10-11AM.
- Council due date: 11/25 by 11:5opm PST. Coordinate the collection & review of student work.
- All entries due to Council Tuesday, November 25th 2025. Virtual entry deadline at 11:59PM, physical art drop-off at CRC 11AM- 3PM or by appointment. Physical artwork is due to council the SAME DEADLINE as the virtual art.
- We will continue a hybrid program of virtual and in-person.
- Local – You may choose as you are comfortable.
- Council – Is hybrid, virtual submissions required, physical art HIGHLY encouraged (Note: only physical artworks submitted to council will be on display at Celebration night. If you don’t plan to submit physical artwork, please print a color picture of the submission for display and forward it to the Reflections Council Chair. This will ensure your student’s artwork is recognized on Celebration night.)
- State level – totally virtual, National level is planning on virtual reviews.
- Enter the advancing artwork in the Council portal (only), consider turning in the physical art. Virtual Art is due to council the SAME DEADLINE as the physical artwork.

- Celebration, January 14, 2026- Our district-wide, in-person Celebration will have two sessions similar to previous years (6-7PM and 7:15-8:15PM).

- State submission deadline: January 14, 2026
State awardees will be announced in mid-March 2026. WSPTA Student Awards Celebration is usually held in May 2025. - National submission deadline: March 2026
National awardees will be announced on May 1st and are celebrated throughout the following calendar year. Students will be recognized with the following awards from National PTA: Award of Merit, Award of Excellence and Award of Outstanding Interpretation.

- Theme Search Contest
National PTA seeks a theme for the Reflections program each year. The student submitting the winning entry receives $100 and their theme is presented at the annual National PTA Convention. Go here for a list of past themes.
WSPTA holds an annual contest to determine Washington’s entries to the national theme search. The deadline for 2027-2028 WSPTA Reflections Theme Search Contest is November 2025.
Only students who attend a school with an active PTA/PTSA may participate in the theme search contest.

Registration opens April 1 at PTA.org/Reflections and runs until Feb. 1 of the following year. Due to the high volume of registrants, please note you will not receive a confirmation email. - Where do I find my PTA’s state and national ID number?
